The Beginning…
Apoorva Dixit’s career began with a role at Abercrombie & Fitch in the UK, where she gained valuable insights into the fashion industry. Upon returning to India, she worked with her father in the construction business and later led the international business division of a pharmaceutical company. As her keen interest in fashion continued to grow, she launched Oru by Apoorva in 2019. Starting with designs rooted in Lucknowi craftsmanship, she created a brand that highlights India’s rich weaving heritage. In 2023, Apoorva expanded with Oru Pret, an affordable luxury line that offers Indo-Western styles for modern, bold women globally.
